28-Tonne Giant Gneiss Rock Moved By Glaciers!

On April 17, 2015, a giant gneiss rock weighting 28 tones on a field near Ostermunzel in the Hanover region is moved by glaciers and then transported to its new location in Mühlenberg where natural monuments are exhibited.

This huge gneiss rock is at first considered to be a natural monument. It was planned to be blown up with dynamites but such a destruction action on natural monuments is forbidden by the law.

That's why these people move the gneiss rock like it's something divine.
