Strikingly Innovative Campaign for Electric and Gas-Powered Bicycles

Local Motors Inc. has launched its own Crowdfunding campaign with the aim of providing a financial source for "Cruiser motorized bicycle" that is designed collectively using the online co-creation platform. The great brain behind these electric and gas-powered bicycles is Ianis Vasilatos, a Local Motors community member. With the campaign, the company actually revives the racing motorcycles that were highly popular a century ago.

Designed on the same basic frame, the electric version has a top speed of 27mph along with a range of 20 miles per charge while the gas-powered version uses 49cc Honda powertrain that makes up to 34mph. As this strikingly innovative campaign is now public, everyone can help support it by pledging even a penny.
