This Custom, Modernised E-Type Is Worth Every Penny - Carfection

In today's short but cool video, we are talking about the E-Type Series 3 car. The E-Type Series 3 is a classic sports car produced by Jaguar, a British luxury automobile manufacturer. The Series 3 is the third and final generation of the Jaguar E-Type, which was originally introduced in 1961 and is often considered one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

The E-Type Series 3 was in production from 1971 to 1975. It featured several design changes and updates compared to its predecessors, the Series 1 and Series 2. One of the most significant changes was the introduction of a new 5.3-liter V12 engine. The V12 engine was a powerful and smooth unit, producing more power than the previous inline-six engines used in the Series 1 and Series 2 E-Types.

The Series 3 E-Type also had a longer wheelbase and wider track than the earlier models, providing improved stability and handling. To accommodate the larger engine, the Series 3 had a more prominent grille opening and flared wheel arches.

While the E-Type Series 3 offered impressive performance and refinement, it faced challenges during its production years due to increasing safety and emission regulations in various markets, particularly in the United States. As a result, some versions of the Series 3 E-Type were less powerful than their European counterparts, to meet emission standards.

That's why the Series 3 is often considered the least desirable E-Type, but the guys at E-Type UK have turned it into a modern masterpiece. Let's take a look at this amazing result! Scroll down and watch the video below. Don't forget to leave your comment!
