Ricky's 1928 Hot Rod

The 1928 Ford Model A sedan is a classic car known for its vintage charm. Originally equipped with a flat-four engine, it has become popular among enthusiasts to modify these vehicles into hot rods, often incorporating more powerful engines such as small block V8s.
By swapping the original flat-four engine with a small block V8, the performance and power of the Ford Model A can be significantly increased. Small block V8 engines are known for their compact size, durability, and availability of aftermarket parts, making them a popular choice for engine swaps in hot rod projects.
The small block V8 engines refer to a series of V8 engines produced by the Ford Motor Company and other manufacturers. These engines have a displacement of less than 400 cubic inches (6.6 liters). They are renowned for their versatility and have been used in various Ford vehicles over the years, including the Mustang, F-150, and other models.
Swapping the original engine with a small block V8 often requires modifications to the car's engine bay, transmission, suspension, and other components to accommodate the larger engine's size and power. The process can be complex and typically involves custom fabrication and modifications to ensure proper fitment and performance.
