10 Newest American Motorcycles With All-Electric Power For 2023-2024

If you regularly check news from the electric motorcycle niche, then you might have noticed that most newcomers originate from Asian and European markets. This tendency made us wonder - are Americans missing something and should consider switching to more agile, eco-friendly, and efficient form of transport?

In today's video, we will be talking about American motorbike manufacturers that support zero-emission future and want us to switch to their battery-powered two-wheelers in 2024. Let's start our electrifying ride! List of all motorbikes mentioned in this video review:

LiveWire S2 Del Mar. After establishing their EV-only Livewire brand and commencing sales of Livewire One motorcycle several years ago, the company gradually started working on new additions to their model lineup. In 2024 the brand brings a tracker-style motorcycle called the S2 Del Mar. With 80 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque on tap, this 431-pound machine has no problem reaching 60 mph from a standstill in less than 3.1 seconds.

Ryvid Anthem. The Anthem weighs 226-pounds without the battery. Even with the battery pack installed, the bike's 10-horsepower motor is powerful enough to bring you to the 75-mph speed.

Zero Motorcycles DSR/X and SR-X. It is safe to say that today Zero Motorcycles is the undisputed leader on the electric bike market not only in the USA, but on the international scale too. Even though Zero Motorcycles have options to cater to any taste, they are planning to add new bikes to the lineup. One of these newcomers is previewed by the Zero SR-X concept.

Tarform Luna Scrambler and Racer. Both versions of Luna are outfitted with the same direct-drive powertrain. The mid-mounted air-cooled electric motor puts out 75-horsepower and transfers its power output to the rear wheel via a belt drive. This setup ensures solid performance specs: 120 mph top speed, 0 to 60 acceleration in 3.8 seconds, and a maximum range of 110 miles.

Super73 C1X. Unlike many underpowered city bikes, C-1-X is supposed to have 75-mph speed capabilities, while retaining a range of 100 miles. In order to achieve this range, the model should have at least 5 kilowatt-hours of battery capacity; moreover, the company confirmed the presence of fast-charging capabilities that could give you 80% of range or 70 miles of riding, in just 15 minutes.

Volcon Grunt Evo. For the upcoming model year Volcon is refreshing their popular dirt bike model. Grunt Evo received revised ergonomics, a design facelift and a smoother powertrain with 10 horsepower of output.

Land Moto District Street and Scrambler. The District is a lightweight electric motorcycle by the Cleveland-based Land Moto company. The bike is highly customizable, so it can be outfitted to be equally capable on the busy city streets and in offroad conditions. Its power comes from a 15-horsepower mid-mounted electric motor.

Huck Cycles. In its base configuration, Rebel S is equipped with a 4-horsepower rear hub motor. Being capable of putting out 8-horsepower of peak output, this motor can grant you 45 mph riding speeds. The bike's battery is hidden within the retro style tank and can have the capacity ranging from 3 to 3.6 kilowatt-hours. This is enough to let you travel between 30 and 50 miles on a charge.

Terra Bikes Prime. The Prime is an electric enduro bike developed by a Colorado-based company. The Prime is a mix between a dual-sport motorcycles and a mountain bike. Its creators wanted to get the weight down, while increasing the performance capabilities.

Rumble Motors V5 Henzo. The newcomer has a 32-inch seat height; it boasts a full carbon fiber body, 17-inch wheels with motorcycle-grade tires that could withstand high-way speeds of 75 mph. The bike's rear wheel hub houses a 10.7 horsepower electric motor that draws its energy from a 72-volt, 90 amp-hour battery pack.

Sondors Metacycle and Metabeast X. Next year Sondors is expanding their e-bike lineup with a dual-sport model. The already present Metacycle is joined by Metabeast X. It will weigh about 200 pounds and feature a long travel-suspension, wire-spoke rims, and rugged-tires to ensure good all-terrain riding credentials.
