Introducing the 2024 Ducati DesertX Rally, the first Ducati with a 21" front rim and 18" rear, tested in Marrakech, Morocco. Boasting enhanced off-road capabilities, it features longer-travel suspension, a redesigned chassis, and increased ground clearance.

Ducati's renewed commitment to off-road excellence is evident in the all-new 2024 DesertX Rally, tailored for rugged adventures. The suspension underwent significant adjustments, featuring extended travel comparable to that of Meo at the Erzbergrodeo, resulting in a 910mm saddle height akin to the tallest seat option on a pre-2023 BMW R 1250 GS Adventure model (as per ZigWheels).

Additionally, a revamped chassis, drawing inspiration from motocross and with a nod to the Cagiva Elefant lineage, provides a substantial 280mm ground clearance. Alongside standard features and an array of ride modes, the recent press release offers just a glimpse of the Rally's impressive enhancements.

Powered by a Testastretta 11° engine delivering 110hp, it comes with spoked rims, Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires, and advanced electronics including customizable riding modes. Weighing 447 lbs dry, with a 5.5-gallon tank, the Rally is set to debut in March 2024 with an MSRP of $22,995 USD.
