If you're interested in engine stuff then you probably have heard something called the "hit and miss engine". But, for those who haven't yet let us explain what this is!

Simply talking, a hit and miss engine is a specific type of four stroke internal combustion engine controlled by a governor to operate a set speed. This is how it is described in Wikipedia, simply and comprehensibly! The video we present you here today demonstrates us a very old and a very big example of this type of engine. Watching the video, you're going to see a tremendous hit and miss engine built in the year 1918, meaning that it almost a hundred years old. It, reportedly, had been used in a grits mill, and apparently it still functions.

Check out the video to see the way this vintage monster works and enjoy!
