The Process Of Making Car Tires

The process of making car tires is a complex and multi-step process that involves a variety of materials and technologies.

The first step in making car tires is mixing the raw materials, including natural and synthetic rubber, carbon black, oil, and other chemicals, in a large machine called a Banbury mixer. The mixture is heated and blended until it forms a homogenous compound.

The blanks are then sent to a tire-building machine, where the layers of the tire are constructed. The tire is then placed in a large mold and heated to a high temperature, which causes the rubber to vulcanize and harden. This process is called curing and gives the tire its final shape and strength.
