New Version of Incredible Humanoid Robot ATLAS by Boston Dynamics

Atlas is an agile anthropomorphic, humanoid robot created to negotiate outdoor rough terrain. This incredible humanoid robot is designed to be capable of walking bipedally and manipulating the environment. Designed and produced by an American robotics company Boston Dynamics, Atlas is strong and well-coordinated enough to climb by using its limbs created with ultimate design and advanced technology. This anthropomorphic robot has two legs, arms, hands and feet along with its 28 hydraulically-actuated degrees of freedom. This 1.8 meter robot is designed to serve in various searching and rescue tasks. The new version of Atlas also known as Atlas: The New Generation is created to serve both in outdoor and inside buildings. It's ultimately specialized in mobile manipulation. The new version of electrically-powered and hydraulically-actuated Atlas uses sensors and LIDAR to avoid from obstacles and to balance its body. This version of humanoid robot Atlas is 1.75 meters tall and weighs 82 kilograms.
