Ice Road Truckers 2023

Each profession has its own requirements! To be the best driver you need to be attentive, reasonable, and patient. To be the best truck driver on an icy road requires a combination of skills, knowledge, and preparedness. Proper training and years of experience are crucial!

Today's video shows us extreme trucks driving on an icy road in northern Yellowknife, NWT, Canada. These trucks were heading towards the mines. These guys had a good season on the ice, some of them had three broken springs, a frozen dipstick and 3 frostbitten fingers. One of these trucks is a 1989 Peterbilt 379. It is equipped with KTA 600HP Cummin, 18 Speed main, 1241C Spicer Aux Box, on Freightliner air ride with 46,000 lb Rockwell Double Lockers.
